Support continues to grow for the “National Unity Project,” launched with the signatures of more than 200 politicians, intellectuals, and public figures. In a statement by the Kurdistan Communist Party, it said: “Because of our belief in a shared destiny and common struggle, we express our support for the call for the ‘National Unity Project,’ which will draw the attention of decision-making centers around the world.”
The statement emphasized that national unity is a fundamental element for protecting rights and freedoms and achieving national goals, adding that division, conflict, and hate speech harm unity.
It also noted that unity does not mean rejecting differences; on the contrary, it strengthens the ability to act together toward common goals.
The Kurdistan Communist Party called on all Kurdish citizens and those who believe in the freedom of nations to support the project, and stated that it backs the messages of politicians and intellectuals from all four parts of Kurdistan.
The statement also stressed that the Kurdish people must take an active role in strengthening peace and security.
