While the siege of Kobanê continues, 12 trucks carrying humanitarian aid from Heyva Sor a Kurd (Kurdish Red Crescent) entered the city today.
Heyva Sor a Kurd teams quickly began distributing the aid—consisting of food, medicine, and clothing—to displaced residents and people in need.
These supplies constitute the second group of aid delivered by Heyva Sor a Kurd to Kobanê since the attacks by militias affiliated with the Syrian transitional government and the Turkish state began.
The Heyva Sor a Kurd Press Office stated that the humanitarian crisis in the city continues due to the ongoing siege and the shortage of basic necessities, adding that their aim is to help address the crisis.
