The Commander-in-Chief of the SDF (Syrian Democratic Forces), Mazloum Abdi, met with a committee representing the families of people who were captured or went missing during the attacks carried out by armed groups affiliated with the transitional government and supported by the Turkish state.
Abdi stated that one of the articles of the January 29 Agreement with the Syrian transitional government concerns the issue of captured and missing persons.
Abdi said they had been officially informed that there are 1,070 detainees in Syrian prisons, including both civilians and soldiers. He emphasized that this matter is very important to them and that no concessions can be made under any circumstances.
