Iranian drone attacks targeted buildings in the village of Werdî in the Choman district, located about 150 kilometers northeast of Hewlêr (Erbil).
The Choman Social Services Center, located in the district center and close to civilian residential areas, was also reportedly targeted by armed drones.
While no casualties were reported in the attacks, which, however, caused material damage.
On the other hand, a drone attack by Iran targeted the communication infrastructure in the city of Halabja. The target was transmission towers located on Mount Befrî Mîrî in the Şinro mountain range. According to officials, the attack caused significant damage to the facilities. As a result, disruptions occurred in the telephone network, and at times the connection completely collapsed. No injuries were reported here either. The same telecommunications facility had been targeted in a similar attack three days ago.
