The Alliance of Political Forces of Iranian Kurdistan condemned the Iranian regime’s missile and drone attacks against Kurdish parties, emphasizing that the attacks will not weaken their struggle but will instead strengthen their determination.
The statement titled “The regime’s attacks will not weaken our struggle and determination”, addressed to “The struggling and resisting people of Kurdistan!”, said the following:
“In recent days, the Islamic Republic of Iran has continuously targeted the bases of political forces from East Kurdistan with missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles. As a result of these attacks, Jalal Rashidi, one of the Peshmerga fighters of the Kurdistan Freedom Party, was martyred, while several Peshmerga fighters from the same party, as well as some Peshmerga fighters from the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran and the Komala Revolutionary Toilers Association of Iranian Kurdistan, were wounded. In recent days, bombardments in Kurdistan and several cities have also caused the deaths or injuries of many civilians.
The Alliance of Political Forces of Iranian Kurdistan extends its condolences to the family of Jalal Rashidi and to the Kurdistan Freedom Party. At the same time, it offers its sympathies to the families of those who lost their lives in the war launched by the Islamic Republic of Iran in the region, and states the following:
The regime’s attacks on the bases and headquarters of political parties from East Kurdistan are a sign of its great fear and weakness in the face of the Kurdish struggle for rights in Iran. These attacks will not weaken our struggle and resistance. On the contrary, they will further strengthen our determination in the struggle to overthrow the Islamic Republic of Iran and to achieve the freedom of Kurdistan.
We once again appeal to the people of Kurdistan: while regime forces are being stationed in mosques and schools and are holding military and security meetings in administrative centers, the public must stay away as quickly as possible from the regime’s military bases, security and administrative centers, and the places where these forces gather.”
