Members of the Peoples’ Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Imralı Delegation, along with DEM Party Co-Chairs Tülay Hatimoğulları and Tuncer Bakırhan, will hold a press conference on Friday, February 27, marking the anniversary of Abdullah Öcalan’s Call for Peace and a Democratic Society.
The meeting will take place in Ankara at 11:00 a.m., where Öcalan’s new message concerning the process is expected to be read.
The event will also include an evaluation of the past year in the Peace and Democratic Society Process, as well as reference to “what needs to be done in the second phase,” as expressed by Öcalan in the most recent meeting.
Numerous invitees from democratic mass organizations, political parties, intellectuals, writers, and journalists are expected to attend the statement.
