Hesekê Governor Nûredîn Ehmed met with a delegation consisting of Political Affairs Director Ebas El Hisên, under the leadership of Dean Ziyad El Ayiş; Syrian Civil Affairs Director Ebdullah El Ebdullah; Hesekê Province Internal Security Commander Merwan El Elî; and members of the Integration Committee.
The meeting addressed mechanisms to accelerate integration steps aimed at ensuring stability in administrative and service sectors, as well as to enhance cooperation among the relevant parties.
The discussion also covered Decree No. 13, issued by the Ministry of Interior in 2026, which regulates the granting of identity documents to unregistered Kurds. It was decided to establish five application centers to receive identity applications and complete supporting documentation. Early March was set as the deadline for completing this process.
The participants also agreed on developing a joint action plan to ensure the swift reactivation of the Alouk Water Station in order to improve service conditions and meet the basic needs of citizens.
