Preparations underway in Geneva for 7 February march

Activists in Geneva are finalizing the preparations for the march “The Freedom of Leader Apo Is the Freedom of Rojava” that will take place on Saturday, 7 February, from Plainpalais Square to the United Nations building.

As part of the preparations, young Kurdish activists distributed leaflets at the University of Geneva and on Bel-Air Street, one of the city’s busy locations.

The leaflets highlighted the purpose of the march and drew attention to the importance of lifting the isolation imposed on Leader Apo [Abdullah Öcalan] for the peoples of Rojava and the Middle East.

The leaflet distribution was also supported by the Serhıldan Geneva International Group. The youth called the people of Geneva and the democratic public to join the long march to be held on Saturday.
