Zurêr Miêş, an official of the Hesekê Internal Security Forces, provided information about the security situation in Hesekê. Miêş said that the Internal Security Forces are on alert and fully prepared 24 hours a day to maintain security and stability in the city.
Stating that Hesekê is calm and safe, Miêş said, “The situation in the city is under control.”
Miêş explained that while the security situation in the city is under control during the daytime, at night sleeper cells attempt to undermine the city’s security, attacking patrols and military forces in order to create opportunities for looting and theft.
Regarding the security measures taken by the Internal Security Forces in the city, Miêş said that the number of checkpoints at city entrances, exits, and within the city has been increased, the number of security personnel at these checkpoints has also been increased, and that patrols are being carried out day and night in the city’s neighborhoods.
Miêş noted that the Internal Security Forces are working in cooperation with local residents who protect their neighborhoods and the Community Defense Forces, with high morale, dedication, and strong conviction, adding, “We will continue our struggle until victory is achieved.”
Miêş concluded by calling on the public to cooperate with and support the security forces for the sake of security and stability, saying, “Today, the Kurds are going through a historic period.”
