In Başûrê (South) Kurdistan, protests are growing against the occupation attacks on Rojava carried out by gangs supported by HTS, ISIS, and the Turkish state. Across the region, in almost all cities, people have taken to the streets and joined the declared general mobilization, sending a message that they stand with and defend the Rojava Revolution.
In the city of Sulaymaniyah (Silêmanî), people have been mobilized for days. Early in the morning, thousands gathered on Seholeke Street in the city center and carried out a mass march along the avenue to protest the attacks.
The march was attended by people of all ages and with a strong presence of young people, chanting slogans saluting the popular resistance in Rojava.
Participants in the march carried the flags of the YPG and YPJ, as well as the official flag of the Kurdistan Region, Ala Rengîn.
