Gangs kill family of five in Raqqa

Gangs affiliated with HTS, ISIS, and the occupying Turkish state killed a Kurdish family of five from the village of Kork in the northeastern countryside of Kobanê as they attempted to leave the city of Raqqa.

The family was executed by the gangs while trying to escape Raqqa to flee the gangs’ brutality. According to sources, the family’s bodies were left on the roadside.

The family members killed by the gangs are: father Mihemed Ismail El Salih, mother Sara Şahin Salih, Yusuf Mihemed Salih, Leyla Mihemed Salih, and the child Evîn Mihemed Salih.

After the fall of the cities of Raqqa and Tabqa, gangs affiliated with HTS, ISIS, and the occupying Turkish state committed crimes and massacres against many families, especially Kurdish families. Due to the gangs’ brutality, families were forcibly displaced, and those who were unable to flee were killed.
