Regime forces attack demonstrators

Footage circulating on digital platforms shows Iranian regime forces using violence against demonstrators during the protests, now in their 12th day. Demonstrators injured in these attacks are unable to seek medical treatment at hospitals due to the threat of arrest.

Protests are spreading

Demonstrations have spread across 31 cities, 111 districts, and 348 towns throughout Iran and Eastern Kurdistan. So far, 45 universities have announced their support for the protests.

According to reports from the region, security forces and Revolutionary Guards have withdrawn from many cities in Iran and Eastern Kurdistan, while shops and public spaces have been closed.

More than 2,000 detentions

According to the Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), during the 12 days of protests, at least 34 demonstrators, including 5 children, have been killed, 2,217 people have been detained, and dozens of demonstrators have been injured.

Statements from detained protesters are reportedly being obtained under pressure and without the presence of lawyers, and these coerced confessions are being broadcast by Iranian state media.
