Many killed in protests in Rojhilat

Protests against Iran’s worsening economic conditions continue strongly in many cities across Iran and in Rojhilatê Kurdistan.

In the city of Meleksha, located in Ilam Province in Rojhilatê Kurdistan, it was reported that major clashes erupted between protesters and Iranian forces during demonstrations against the rising cost of living. According to sources, seven people were killed in these clashes.

While the number of injured has not yet been announced, the clashes were confirmed by media outlets affiliated with the Iranian military. However, no information was shared regarding those who were killed.

Meanwhile, protests are also continuing in the cities of Shiraz and Kazrun. Official media reported that one person was killed.

In the capital Tehran, many businesses remained closed in response to public anger towards the regime.
