The Military Operations Teams (TOL) of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), in coordination with the International Coalition forces, carried out a precise security operation in the city of Raqqa, resulting in the arrest of four members of the terrorist organization ISIS.
According to the SDF Press Center, the operation was based on reliable intelligence, as SDF forces raided the cell’s location without any casualties among civilians or the participating forces. During the operation, weapons and communication equipment used to support terrorist activities were seized.
“During initial interrogations, the detainees confessed to their involvement in gathering intelligence on the locations and positions of our military forces, planning to carry out attacks, as well as maintaining contact with ISIS leadership and supplying them with information,” said the SDF statement on Saturday.
The Syrian Democratic Forces affirmed that this operation is part of an ongoing campaign to disrupt ISIS capabilities and prevent the reconstitution of its cells, in coordination with the International Coalition, in a manner that ensures the protection of civilians and the preservation of security and stability in the region.
