El-Elî tribe representative: The Autonomous Administration should be recognised

Although for the Autonomous Administration of Northern and Eastern Syria is the best solution to the Syrian crisis, it has not been officially recognised so far.

Speaking on the issue, one of the wise men of the Raqqa El-Elî tribe, Remedan El-Rehal told ANHA: “It is clear that the Autonomous Administration is the real solution to the Syrian crisis. The gains of the SDF forces, which include Kurdish, Arab and other components, in Northern and Eastern Syria should be preserved. “

Remedan El-Rehal added: “By collaborating with all the components and tribes in the region, the Autonomous Administration built service, security and military institutions. Ensuring social harmony is the cornerstone of peace in every region, and the Autonomous Administration has achieved this. “

Stating that approximately 6 million Syrian citizens live within the borders of the Autonomous Administration, El-Rehal added: “We are 6 million citizens and we demand the official recognition of our administration. We think that we have the right to govern ourselves.”

The wise man continued: “Our demand for Autonomous Administration should not be seen as a threat to the unity of Syria. With its different components, this form of government represents the majority of the Syrian people better.”

El-Rehal continued: “The message of peace and brotherhood of the peoples living all over Northern and Eastern Syria should be heard. The Autonomous Administration in the Region should be officially recognized. Even more should be done, our representatives in the international community should have a say about the situation of the region.”
