In a statement on Saturday, ISIS said it conducted two separate attacks in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor in eastern Syria, targeting a Damascus-affiliated security officer and an oil tanker.
According to a statement published on ISIS platforms, a member of the security forces affiliated with the Syrian transitional government was subjected to an armed attack in front of his home in the city of Bukemal.
The person in question was wounded in the attack, which was carried out with a silenced weapon.
Another statement shared by ISIS said that an oil tanker was targeted near the town of Mekmen in northern Deir ez-Zor. The tanker was damaged as a result of the attack and the oil inside leaked.
