Channel 8 reporter kidnapped by security forces in Erbil

In a statement on Thursday, Channel 8 said that their reporter Eyub Warti was abducted by security forces in Erbil.

Accordingly, the reporter was kidnapped while gathering information about the environmental impact of refineries in the city.

Channel 8 stated that the force responsible for the abduction is affiliated with the KDP and added that the fate and whereabouts of their reporter remain unknown.
