Suicide drone attacks against the Kurdistan Region have resumed after a few days’ pause.
According to reports from the ground, suicide drone attacks were carried out at the borders of Sulaymaniyah and Hewlêr (Erbil) provinces in southern Kurdistan, northern Iraq.
Unmanned aerial vehicles targeted a hut inside the Sûrdaş Camp, a private camp which houses employees of the Kurdistan Toilers Association and citizens from Rojhilat (East Kurdistan). According to reports, three people were injured in the attack.
Meanwhile, a drone attack in Xelîfan near Hewlêr was prevented.
On the other hand, a drone attack targeted an area near Azadî Camp, where people from Rojhilat live.
There is no information yet on the extent of the damage caused by the attacks. No group has claimed responsibility for the attacks so far.
