More families from Afrin who were forcibly displaced during the occupation of Afrin in 2018 are returning home within the framework of the provisions of the January 29 agreement.
800 IDPs gathered on the Şehit Yûsif Gulo ring road west of the city of Qamishlo and departed for Afrin in dozens of vehicles and buses.
After leaving Heseke, the families were divided into three groups due to the large number of returnees.
The first convoy of 400 people had returned on March 9, and the second convoy of 200 people had returned to Afrin on April 4.
