Residents of Qamishlo often go out to the areas around the city during spring days for picnics, especially along the border stretching between Qamishlo and the district of Nusaybin in Mardin, in North Kurdistan.
When people went out for a picnic today, Turkish forces fired tear gas at the civilians, after which gunshots were heard.
