It was learned that one of those detained was a woman identified as D.O., while the names of the other five were not disclosed. It was stated that the detainees were taken to the Diyarbakır Police Department.
In Istanbul, simultaneous raids were also conducted on the homes of many people who were alleged to have “made propaganda for an illegal organization” during the Newroz celebrations in the city. In these raids, 7 people were detained. It was learned that the detainees were taken to the Istanbul Provincial Police Department.
In Izmir, at least 14 people were detained during early morning house raids on the allegation that they had “made propaganda for an illegal organization ” during the Newroz celebration. Those detained were taken to the Çankaya Police Department in Konak.
