The Command of the Sweida National Guard Forces issued a statement regarding the incidents that occurred in the region over the past 24 hours.
The statement said that forces affiliated with the Syrian transitional government carried out systematic attacks against the people of Sweida from yesterday morning until dawn today.
As a result of the attacks, 7 people lost their lives, 4 were injured, and 19 were abducted, it added.
Accordingly, 3 people were killed in their fields in the town of Najran, 12 people were detained at a checkpoint in the town of Metuna, 4 people were killed and 7 were abducted in the area between the towns of Beka and Berd.
On the other hand, the town of Beka was targeted by two drones, one of which was shot down, and one person was injured as a result of these attacks.
The statement added that three women were injured in a house that caught fire after the city was bombarded with Grad rockets.
