Thousands of people from the city of Kobanê welcomed the body of Kurdish politician and Democratic Union Party (PYD) Co-Presidential Council member Martyr Salih Muslim in his village, Şêran.
This morning, thousands of people coming from different cities of Rojava—citizens from Kurdish, Arab, Syriac, and other communities—participated in the funeral ceremony. The ceremony was organized by the Martyrs’ Families Assembly in Qamishlo at the March 12 Martyrs Stadium, after which the funeral was sent off to Kobanê.
It was stated that the body of Salih Muslim will be buried tomorrow at the Martyr Dicle Cemetery in Kobanê with a ceremony attended by a large crowd.
