A ceremony was held in Hewlêr (Erbil) in the morning for Salih Muslim, who died of kidney failure yesterday evening. After the ceremony, his body was sent off to Rojava, his homeland.
At the Semalka Border Crossing, the coffin was received by people from the Dêrik region and members of the PYD with slogans expressing loyalty to the martyrs. As the coffin was carried on shoulders, citizens from the cities of Girkê Legê, Çilaxa, and Tirbespiyê also took part in the procession.
Following the reception in Semalka, the body was sent to Qamishlo. After the ceremony to be held here, his body will be taken to Kobanê tomorrow and buried at the Martyr Dicle Cemetery of Martyrs in the city.
