Alliance of Rojhilat: Iran’s attacks are a sign that the dictatorial regime is nearing its end

The Alliance of Political Forces of Iranian Kurdistan issued a statement regarding the attacks targeting Kurdish forces from Rojhilat (Eastern Kurdistan).

The statement on Sunday noted that the Islamic Republic of Iran has continuously bombed the bases of parties belonging to the Political Alliance of Rojhilat Kurdistan in Southern Kurdistan (Northern Iraq) since the first day of the war. “In the past few days, missile and drone attacks against the Kurdistan Region have intensified. As part of these attacks, the headquarters of the parties of Rojhilat Kurdistan as well as Erbil, Sulaymaniyah and several other areas of the Kurdistan Region were targeted last night,” the statement said.

The statement continued: “In these terror attacks carried out by the Islamic Republic of Iran and its forces, a peshmerga fighter of the Komala of the Revolutionary Toilers of Iranian Kurdistan, Ismail Rahmani, and Welat Tahir, a security officer working at Erbil Airport, were martyred. In addition, several peshmerga fighters from the Revolutionary Komala and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan were wounded.

As the Alliance of Political Forces of Iranian Kurdistan, we condemn the attacks of the Islamic Republic and its aggression that is dragging the entire region into instability. We express our condolences to the families of the martyrs Ismail Rahmani and Welat Tahir, to the people of the Kurdistan Region and to the Komala of the Revolutionary Toilers of Iranian Kurdistan.

The Political Alliance of Rojhilat Kurdistan believes that the terror attacks of the Islamic Republic are a sign that the dictatorial regime is nearing its end. We make it clear to the Kurdish people that resistance and continuous struggle to overthrow the Islamic Republic and to achieve the national rights of our people have been the goal of all our martyrs, and that we will pursue this goal without interruption.”
