Attacks by Israel and the United States against Iran are continuing on their fourth day. Numerous military centers, bases belonging to the Revolutionary Guards, facilities affiliated with the Ministry of Intelligence, police stations, Border Guard forces, and a judicial center have been targeted with missiles and warplanes.
The attacks have also spread to the cities of Diwandareh, Piranshahr, Marivan, Naqadeh, Sanandaj, Urmia, Ilam, Kermanshah, Sarpol-e Zahab, and Saqqez in Rojhilat (Eastern) Kurdistan. It was reported that the Border Guard forces in Rojhilat were also targeted.
According to reports from the ground, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have deployed a large number of ground forces to cities along the Rojhilat Kurdistan border. In some cities including Sardasht, Piranshahr, and Oshnavieh, forces have been stationed in mosques and schools.
It was further reported that members of the Revolutionary Guards and security forces, along with their families, have left their homes in Rojhilat Kurdistan due to the airstrikes.
The highest military casualties were recorded in Kermanshah, Urmia, and Sanandaj, where many civilian areas were also targeted in addition to military centers. No official statement has yet been made regarding the loss of life resulting from the attacks.
