Melîka Kawendî (38) and her sister Sara Kawendî (47) were reportedly arrested by Iranian intelligence forces during a raid on Melîka’s home and transferred to Kiçowî Prison in Karaj. It was stated that Melîka Kawendî was one of the leading figures of the “Jin, Jiyan, Azadî” (Woman, Life, Freedom) demonstrations.

In protests in Ilam, seven women — Ayda Aramsh, Zeyneb Tehmasb, Hacer Khalidi, Dunya Sadiqi, Fatma Periweshi, Suha Masoudi, and Sedef Qasimi — were arrested by Iranian security forces and transferred to Ilam Prison. Ayda Aramsh was reportedly injured at the time of her arrest.
