Parliamentary commission forwards draft final report to the parties

The draft final report prepared by the editorial committee of the parliamentary commission on a democratic solution to the Kurdish question has been forwarded to the political parties represented in the body.

According to the information provided on Tuesday, the transmitted version also includes a framework text intended to serve as the basis for the final revision. Commission members now have the opportunity to submit substantive assessments and proposed amendments.

The aim is to formulate a final version that can gain cross-party consensus after feedback from all sides, the sources said. It remains unclear when the final report will be presented. No details have yet been disclosed regarding the specific contents of the current draft.

The “Commission for National Solidarity, Brotherhood, and Democracy” was established in August following a call for peace and a democratic society issued in February last year by Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan.
