HTS groups positioned themselves in the western villages of Suwayda and launched a heavy-weapons attack on the Majdal area in northwestern Suwayda. In the attack, a 30-year-old man named Rani Basil Naeem was killed, and three others were wounded.
The Suwayda National Defense Forces Command had announced that HTS groups attacked the western regions of Suwayda using artillery, mortars, and drones, and that they responded to an attack by a group of militants attempting to enter the Mezraiyeh district.
