Delegation of doctors from South Kurdistan arrives in Qamishlo

On February 1, a delegation of 19 doctors from the cities of Sulaymaniyah and Hewlêr (Erbil) in South Kurdistan arrived in Rojava Kurdistan to provide support.

After two days of work for the wounded and displaced in the city of Dêrik and the health institutions in Rojava, the doctors moved Qamishlo today.

The doctors paid the first visit to the Heart and Eye Hospital in Qamishlo, then proceeded to the Executive Council of the Cizîrê Canton, where they held a meeting with the canton’s co-chairs and administrators. The meeting was held behind closed doors.

The delegation will continue its work together with local health institutions, providing services to wounded resistance fighters and displaced people in the city.
