In a statement in the northern Syrian icty of Qamishlo on Wednesday, the Kurdish Red Crescent Heyva Sor a Kurd stated that their branch in Southern Kurdistan and Channel 8 sent 45 tons of medicines to the Heyva Sor a Kurd unit in Qamişlo.
“Heyva Sor a Kurd has delivered all the medicines to the Health Committee of the Cizîr Canton. These medicines will be distributed to 6 hospitals and 20 health clinics,” the statement said.
Pointing to the siege of Kobanê, the statement noted that the medicines could not be delivered to the city, but efforts to this end are continuing.
