The Kurdish Women’s Bureau Cênî launched a signature campaign against the attacks targeting Rojava and drafted a letter as part of the initiative. Artists, writers, and actors demanded the immediate end to the military assault on Rojava and called for the recognition of Rojava’s status.
“The recognition of Rojava is not a symbolic act. It is a political responsibility,” the letter said, setting out the following demands:
The immediate cessation of the military attack on Rojava and the protection of the civilian population.
Political and legal recognition of Rojava by the European Union (EU).
The campaign is set to continue.
