Local sources reported that HTS–ISIS militias heavily shelled neighborhoods in Suwayda.
The Command of the National Defense Forces announced that its units responded simultaneously to the militias and destroyed a mortar position and a 23-mm DShK vehicle.
The forces emphasized that they will respond forcefully to any violations by the militias and will not allow civilians’ safety to be endangered.
