A delegation, including Democratic Regions Party (DBP) co-chair Keskin Bayındır, DEM Party co-chair Tülay Hatimoğulları, and DEM Party Wan MP and Democratic Unity Initiative Spokesperson Gülcan Kaçmaz Sayyiğit, crossed into Rojava through the Sêmalka Gate on Wednesday, 21 January.
Received by PYD co-chairs Perwîn Yûsif and Xerîb Hiso, the delegation met with PYD Co-Presidency Council member Aldar Xelîl, PYD co-chair of Foreign Relations Sema Bektaş, the party’s co-chair of the Peoples’ Relations Office Silêman Ereb, and General Council member Talet Yunis.
The visit took place at a time when the attacks and massacres against Kurds, that started on 6 January, continue.
Talks are taking place behind closed doors.
