In response to the attacks by militia groups affiliated with the Syrian transitional government and backed by the Turkish state, the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (DAANES) and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) declared general mobilization.
In the wake of the calls for defense amid continued attacks, people in the Cizir and Euphrates cantons chose to defend their areas and resist the genocidal campaign directed at them.
In Hesekê, where a state of emergency was declared, Internal Security Forces and Social Defense Forces (HPC) are working alongside the people to protect the city’s security. SDF and YPJ fighters are also carrying out their duties on the resistance fronts. Bakeries continue to serve the public. Additionally, medical teams have been mobilized for emergencies.
In Til Temir and Dirbêsiyê, people participating in the general mobilization are protecting their neighborhoods, patrolling the streets. During the day, people only meet their daily needs, but in the evenings, it turns into a general mobilization for security purposes.
