Muqtada al-Sadr issued a message regarding threats against Iraq
The leader of the Shiite National Movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, issued a message regarding threats against Iraq following the attack on Rojava by gangs of the Interim Damascus Government supported by the Turkish state.

In his message, Muqtada al-Sadr made the following call: “I call on Shiite movements, Iraqi tribes, the people, security forces, Hashd al-Shaabi forces, and Sunni forces in Iraq to unite, reject instability, and defend peace. The defense and unity of Iraq come before everything else. Terrorism represents no side; it is the enemy of all Iraqis.”
Sadr also instructed movements affiliated with him to be prepared for all possibilities and called on Arab tribes to establish a “Security Council.”
After attacking Rojava, gangs of the Interim Damascus Government supported by the Turkish state released thousands of ISIS militants who were being held in prisons, which has increased the threat of attacks against Iraq.
