Footage of two women fighters from the Women’s Defense Units (YPJ) who were abducted in the Deir ez-Zor region by militias linked to the Transitional Damascus Government has been released.
Activists, intellectuals, and women’s rights organizations condemned the abduction of the two women fighters and demanded that those responsible be prosecuted.
The video shared on social media networks, shows that two women fighters named Amara Intiqam and Narîn Axîn were abducted in the Deir ez-Zor region.
