According to reports from the ground, fierce clashes are taking place between Turkish -backed armed groups and SDF-YPJ fighters between the city of Ain Issa and the village of Abu Sira near Kobanê. Clashes in the region have intensified at times.
In response to the threat of attack, young people and residents of the Metina village, east of Kobanê, began preparing their defenses. Seeking to protect their village and their living space, the people of Metina have taken up arms.
