Armed groups affiliated with the occupying Turkish state attempted to advance towards the village of Sayda in the countryside of Ain Issa in the Euphrates Canton. Reports say that the groups were repelled and forced to retreat following the intervention of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
Meanwhile, reports are coming through of ongoing fighting between SDF-YPJ and armed groups affiliated with the transitional government in villages around the city of Raqqa. Clashes continue in areas nearly 20 kilometers from the city center.
On the other hand, SDF and YPJ forces conducted successful operations against ISIS cells in the city center of Raqqa. Security sources stated that operations are ongoing with the aim of completely clearing the city and neutralizing ISIS-affiliated cells.
