In a statement shared on his social media account, US Ambassador to Turkey and also Special Envoy for Syria Tom Barrack said they are working “day and night to de-escalate tensions.”
Barrack wrote: “The United States continues close engagement with all parties in Syria. We are working day and night to reduce tensions, prevent escalation, and facilitate a return to integration talks between the Syrian government and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).”
