Turkey reiterates its solidarity with the HTS: We will support Syria’s fight

Rear Admiral Zeki Aktürk, Press and Public Relations Advisor to the Ministry of Defense, stated, “We would like to reiterate that we do not view Syria’s security as separate from our own security and that we will support Syria’s fight against terrorist organizations, based on the principle of ‘one state, one army’ and Syria’s unity and territorial integrity, if requested.”

Shortly after the launch of attacks on Kurdish neighborhoods in Aleppo on January 6, the Turkish Ministry of Defense stated that it was ready to support the Damascus regime if requested.

During the war crimes committed in Aleppo, the Turkish state and allied militias openly supported the militias and expressed their satisfaction. Numerous documents and images show that forces linked to the Turkish state were directly involved in the war crimes perpetrated in Aleppo’s Kurdish neighborhoods last week.
