Heyva Sor: Nearly 100 injured people were evacuated from Sheikh Maqsoud

As part of the coordination between Kurdish Red Crescent Heyva Sor and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, nearly 100 wounded civilians and security personnel were evacuated from the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood of Aleppo yesterday and transported to northern and eastern Syria.

Heyva Sor a Kurd Co-Chair Dilgeş Îsa said, “As a result of joint coordination between medical teams, the Red Cross, and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, nearly 100 wounded civilians and security personnel were evacuated from the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood yesterday.”

Isa said that 10 ambulances provided by the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and Red Cross and 7 buses carrying neighborhood residents arrived in Deir Hafer at 3:30 a.m. last night. The wounded people were distributed to hospitals in the Tabqa and Raqqa cantons and in the Hesekê city in Cizîr Canton.

Isa added that they were continuing their work to gather information about those injured in the attacks directed against the Kurdish neighborhood.
