The Internal Security Forces announced that intense clashes continue between their forces and Damascus government-affiliated factions in the vicinity of the Ashrafiyah neighborhood. The fighters are manifesting a heroic stand against the attacks with tanks and armored vehicles.
The Internal Security Forces are also clearing the residential buildings that Damascus fighters have infiltrated.
The death toll among the attackers has risen to 13, with two armored vehicles destroyed and two fighters captured, while Internal Security Forces continue their clearing operations as the remaining attackers flee the frontlines.
