Axîn Nûcan, General Coordinator of Internal Security Forces in Aleppo’s Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyah neighborhoods, sent a message to Rojnews.
Axîn Nûcan stated the following in her message: “Today is our day. We are resisting not only in Sheikh Maqsoud but everywhere. We represent all of Rojava and the Kurds. The resistance here is first and foremost for Leader Apo (Abdullah Öcalan). We said we would defend Rojava! Today, the Turkish state says it will attack. Our will is stronger than their tanks, cannons, and planes. If we crush the mercenaries here, they will not dare to attack the Kurds and Rojava again. Take no notice of their tanks and artillery; they have no will. Only the will of the people can destroy those weapons. We have that will. Today, we must all write stories of victory. No street or avenue will be lost. We will win. Our people are with us. We are determined. God is with us. The mercenaries cannot attack due to the cloudy and rainy weather. Our comrades repelled the mercenaries and defeated them. The mercenaries have fled.”
