Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) President Bafil Talabani shared a message on his X account concerning the attacks.
In his message, Talabani stated: “I hope that all parties choose calm, act with common sense in the face of these developments, and address the problems within a framework of dialogue and responsibility.”
He continued: “We are following the events in Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh with great concern. In this difficult and sensitive period, my heart is with our people in Rojava Kurdistan.
I support all efforts that avoid escalating tensions, stabilize the situation, and resolve the problems through peaceful means.”
