American feminist philosopher Anderson voices support for the peace process in Turkey

A new message of support for the Peace and Democratic Society Process launched on February 27 came from American philosopher Elizabeth Anderson.

In a message sent to Mezopotamya Agency (MA), the feminist philosopher expressed her support for the process as follows: “With the arrival of the new year, we welcome the peace process in Turkey. Every step forward taken toward building a more peaceful and more democratic society in Turkey will show us all that a better world is possible. Authoritarianism rests on resignation and a hopeless outlook. A vibrant and strong democracy, by contrast, requires hope. I extend my most sincere wishes to everyone working for peace in Turkey, for the good of the people of Turkey and of all humanity.”
