The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Press Center issued a statement announcing the martyrdom of three fighters.
The statement said: “After a heroic journey of struggle within the ranks of our forces, three of our brave fighters fell as martyrs while carrying out their military duties at different times and places.
Our comrade Salim Ebdullatif El-Hemada was seriously wounded while responding to an attack by the ISIS terrorist organization in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor. Despite being taken to hospital for treatment, he succumbed to his injuries a few days later and was martyred.”
The statement continued: “Our martyred comrade Salim was active in the field of public relations in the town of Al-Bisêra. There, he played an important role in building bridges of communication with the local population, especially with tribal communities. He was widely respected for his significant role in strengthening internal peace. He was a highly capable fighter, possessing exceptional skills and a strong sense of responsibility. Thanks to these qualities, he contributed to resolving many tribal issues. He stood by the people and met their needs. Comrade Salim’s presence among tribal leaders and elders was influential. He himself was a victim of the crimes of the ISIS terrorist organization and was a tireless patriot. He remained loyal to our forces until the moment of his martyrdom.
Our comrade Eymen Hesen El Keleş also attained martyrdom while responding to attacks by ISIS terrorist cells. Comrade Eymen resisted terrorist attacks courageously until his last breath.”
The statement added: “Our martyred comrade Eymen came from a family whose children played an important role within the ranks of the revolution. He participated in the final operation for the liberation of Baghuz. During the operation, he was wounded, but despite his injury, he continued his duty until the operation ended in victory.
Our martyred comrade Orhan Ebdo Isa also came from a family that has been part of the revolution since its beginning. Members of his family fell as martyrs in the resistance of Kobane and in the struggle for the liberation of Manbij. Drawing strength and determination from the sacrifices of his relatives, our comrade joined the ranks of our forces with great faith and enthusiasm. He believed that protecting the people and the legacy of the martyrs was a national duty.
Comrade Orhan participated in professional training that enhanced his military skills. After completing these training, he heroically and bravely took part in the resistance to defend the Qereqozak Bridge, where he demonstrated exceptional resistance and left a distinct mark on the struggle.”
The statement said: “We will remain faithful to the memory of our comrades Salim, Eymen and Orhan. We will continue their revolutionary struggle.
We extend our patience and condolences to the families of our martyrs and to all the families of our martyrs. We will continue to struggle to protect the gains achieved through the sacrifices of our martyrs.”
