The Free Women’s Movement (Tevgera Jinên Azad – TJA) opened a photo exhibition at the Atatürk Art Gallery in the Rêya Armuşê (İpekyolu) district of Van for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women on 25 November.
On Monday night, police carried out a raid on the exhibition. It was reported that the police confiscated the photos of 7 women who lost their lives in the freedom struggle and conducted a search inside the gallery.
