Kurdish people and their friends from Germany, as well as from France, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Switzerland, have started to gather in the area to join today’s march and rally in Cologne.

From the early morning hours, people have been gathering, dancing halay, and chanting “Biji Serok Apo” (Long Live Leader Apo-Abdullah Öcalan).
For the march and rally demanding Abdullah Öcalan’s physical freedom, more than 100 public meetings have been held across Germany, along with thousands of home and shop visits.

Hundreds of thousands of leaflets were distributed, and people are pouring into Cologne from countries such as Germany, France, Switzerland, Belgium, and the Netherlands in hundreds of buses and thousands of personal vehicles.

In addition to German politicians, DBP co-chair Keskin Bayındır will join the march and address the crowd.

Many artists from Hunera Mizgîn and TEV-ÇAND will also participate in the action.
