The General Command of the Internal Security Forces of Northern and Eastern Syria released the identities of two members who lost their lives in an accident while on duty.
The statement said: “We announce with deep sorrow the martyrdom of two members of our Operations Forces, who lost their lives while fulfilling their sacred duties to protect the security and stability of the region.
Our two comrades were martyred as a result of a traffic accident while returning from official duty. As the Internal Security Forces, we reaffirm that we will continue our mission to protect the peace and safety of our people, following in the footsteps of our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for freedom and security.”
The statement added: “We extend our condolences to the families and comrades of the martyrs, emphasizing that their sacrifice will serve as a torch for the youth of our people in building a safe and peaceful future.”
